School Adverse Weather Plan

If there is adverse weather (e.g. snow, ice etc.) parents will be able to find out if the school is open or closed through the following means:

• LGfL Opencheck (https://opencheck.atomwide.com/Default.aspx),
• The school website (www.highviewprimary.org.uk)
• Twitter (@highviewPrSch)
• InTouch or Groupcall (although do not rely on a text as the system finds it hard to cope with the increase demand from so many schools at times such as this).

If the school is closed to all pupils on an adverse weather day, parents will be contacted through the forums mentioned above by 6.45am on the day in question.
